As a counselor

each person is unique and self-consistent. Each person is a
chooser who
determines and controls her/his own behavior and is an active
participant for her/his own life's
direction. I believe for counseling to be most effective

must make a commitment of time and
energy to take an active part in the process. This may well
involve activities outside the counseling
session(s)
as well as involve issues of pain and discomfort and
areas of deep contemplation about
one's life.
Most counseling sessions
take place weekly and last 60-minutes. Depending on your
concerns
however
sessions may be scheduled more or less frequently. The
number of counseling sessions
needed varies with each person and their unique situation. After
we fully understand your reason(s)
for seeking counseling
we will discuss the number of sessions
which might benefit your situation.
