We are an independent Rite of the
Catholic Church and although not Roman
Catholic or belong to the Latin Rite we are valid
Catholics as are the Orthodox,
Coptics,Melkites,etc...our positions are not as rigid and
we severed with the
Vatican in the year 981...the Pope tried to reconcile
with the Ukranian Catholics-
not a success, our prayer is that all Rites of the
Catholic church may someday
rejoin as one Church respecting the varoius Rites of 2000
years we are worldwide,
our Priests can marry as the Romans did for the 1st 1200
years
