Ax Church is about average people making Jesus famous. We believe that Jesus (His teaching, love, sacrifice) is the answer to the challenges that face the Illinois Valley today. Instead of investing time and money into programs, we want to invest in people. Our goal is to see lost and hurting people healed and empowered to accomplish God’s specific purpose for their life.

As a church, we are a strange breed. We desperately love Jesus, but we could really care less about religion. Ax Church has no interest in denominational lines, instead we hope to see all believers united because of Christ. We really just want to love God and then love everyone. We like when things stay simple, and don’t get complicated by a bunch of unnecessary pieces. So here it is plain and simple; Ax Church is about YOU understanding how Jesus saved your life, and what to do from there.
