Messianic congregations emphasize support for Israel and the Israel Jewish people in general. They have found that non-Jews who are attracted to Messianic congregations will often express a sense of having been "called" to be part of one. Others have shared that they receive a form of teaching that they haven't been able to find in other congregations. Messianic congregations are the same as a Christian church in the sense that they support and teach the basic beliefs of evangelical Christianity.
