The Lakeland Church of Lakeland Florida is a duly constituted independent Baptist assembly belonging to no association, convention or denominational union. The Lakeland Church owns no head but the Lord Jesus Christ.

– The Lakeland Church uses as its Articles of Faith and Rules of Church Polity only the Holy Scriptures as preserved to our generation in the Authorized King James Version of 1611 A.D. The church membership consists only of those who have been baptized by immersion in water upon profession of faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God.

– Regarding the Lord Jesus Christ, The Lakeland Church believes that He is the eternal creator God, together with the Father and the Holy Ghost, they being three distinct persons yet one God. That He became and is truly man, divinely conceived of a virgin, and therefore, the Son of God. That His death was effectual in putting away the sins of His people and securing their eternal salvation: that He arose from the dead bodily; and ascended into heaven bodily: that He is now reigning over all things at the right hand of God and that He will return to raise the dead, just and unjust, and to judge the world.
