COME HOME…….TO THE CHAPEL IN THE WOODS

Worship Service Hours: Sunday mornings, 9:00 AM

Our liturgical worship is simple, and continues to recognize and preserve beliefs in God’s gifts of Life and Grace, the confession of sins, and the creeds distilled from the Bible. We prepare sermons for adults and children alike to assure a transfer of Bible and life application knowledge appropriate to listeners’ spectrum of understanding.

We believe that all peoples on Planet Earth are sinners, but can be saved through faith in a living Christ. We believe that it is faith and faith alone that brings us to God’s Kingdom today, through our years here on Earth, and gives us the promise of life eternal with God, Jesus and all the saints that have gone before. And…….we believe that “prayer changes things.”

Young People Christian Education and Activities

We invite young people to attend TREKKERS on Wednesday evenings at 6:00pm. We have about 25 children meeting every Wednesday evening at 6:00 PM for a great dinner, singing and story-telling in the Sanctuary followed by crafts in the assembly room. All activities are closely chaperoned by male and female adults. Bring your children! They’ll love it.

Salem Lutheran is a community church, and is currently non-aligned with a national church organization.
