Dr. Thomas is a licensed clinical psychologist. She is unique among psychologists as she works within a faith-based framework and is unique among Christian counselors due to her training in and commitment to providing services grounded in the latest research regarding effective treatment. She works with adolescents, women, couples, and families treating eating disorders, couples issues, depression, anxiety and panic attacks, as well as a number of other concerns. She also provides gifted assessment of children. Evidence-based treatment approaches include Family-Based Treatment (FBT or Maudsley Method) for adolescents with eating disorders, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Day, evening, and Saturday appointments are available.

Because choosing a therapist can be a daunting task and is a very personal decision, Dr. Thomas offers a free 25-minute consultation to provide you the opportunity to gauge your comfort with her and the office setting, as well as ask any questions your may have about her approach, the therapy process, policies and fees, etc.
