to the Christian faith as proclaimed in the Bible through weekly
worship, Church School, group Bible study and fellowship meetings,
and in outreach to the community.

The Presbyterian Church of Floyd is home to an active and multi-
generational congregation family, and through education, worship and
service, seeks to explore and deepen one’s personal relationship to
Christ. PCOF is also an active witness within the Floyd community,

Floyd Baptist Church was organized in the year 1876 under the name of Jacksonville Baptist Church. From it’s date of conception to the current date, we have strived to carry out the Great Commission as the Lord Jesus Christ has directed. It is our utmost desire to lead lost souls to the saving knowledge of our Lord and to be a light in the community in which we live and serve.

We welcome you to our online presence at floydbaptist.com, and pray that the information on the website will be a blessing to you.

We also invite you to come and share with us during Sunday School, Worship, TeamKid, and various other outreach ministries!

The goal of this Christian church is to simply do what Jesus did while he was here on earth. Whether worshiping, serving, learning, or celebrating, Brethren act in community. Together, we study the Bible to discern God's will; we make decisions as a group, and each person's voice matters.
