Bethany Congregational United Church of Christ is a wonderful church with many historic connections in Thomasville. In 1891 the church was established as the chapel of the Allen Normal School which functioned from 1887-1933. Today, Bethany remains a vital church serving the community through its adoption of the Harper Elementary School where members volunteer, an active parish nurse ministry, just to name a couple.

Worship services are held every Sunday at 9:00am, followed by Church School at 10:15am.

Theology Among the People – Tuesdays at 5:00pm (This is an indept Bible Study)

Bible Study – Wednesdays at 6:00pm

Choir Rehearsal – every other Wednesday at 7:00pm
