Preston
– We are very fortunate to have Preston Stewart as the Pastor of First Church of the Brethren. Preston is a resident of Bristol, Tennessee and grew up in Bristol, Virginia. He attended John Battle High School and played soccer for the Trojans. Before coming to First Church of the Brethren he served as a youth pastor where he discovered his passion to teach the Word of God and see people grow in Christ. He is a hands on pastor who enjoys being involved in the lives of the people he serves and being an encouragement in their walk with God. Preston takes the teaching of Gods Word very serious and strives to deliver a message that is inspired by God every week. He describes himself as “just a nobody trying to tell everybody about a Somebody”.Preston holds a degree in Human Services from Virginia Highlands and is completing his degree in Christian Counseling and Psychology at Liberty University. He is an active member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and holds numerous certifications in the counseling field.
– Preston and his wife Amanda have been together since November 2000 and have 3 children: Ashlyn, Riley and Kingston. They enjoy hiking and watching Florida Gators football as a family.Stewart Family

Our member churches are all Calvinistic Churches even though not all include the
title ‘Calvinist’ in their names. Being Calvinistic means it is our conviction that only
true Elect members should be baptized, and that baptism should only be
administered by immersion. However we do recognize and accept that a majority of
our Church members consist of God-fearing, Christ honoring, Non-Elect individuals
and families that submit to the Sovereignty of God. For more info, please visit us

We want to invite everyone and anyone to be with us in our services as we worship the most high name of Jesus Christ. Our church is a pentecostal friendly country church that reaches out to the lost and poor, and that is grounded in the five-fold apostolic ministry of the gospel, and believes in oldtime campmeeting feet-washing, communion, laying on of hands with oil, talking in tounges, holy ghost filled services, and the baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. Our service times are

WEDNESDAY PRAYER MEETING:6:30

SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP:10:30

SUNDAY EVENING WORSHIP:6:30

PASTOR: REV.RAY SAYERS

DEACON: BRO.PLENNIE SAWYERS

May god richly bless each and everyone of you as you walk with the lord!!!!
