In 2004, two families left their homes in Texas and moved to the Salt Lake Valley to help start a church. There was no body or building, just a dream. This past January, Lifeline Community celebrated its 4th anniversary. We’ve come a long way, but our mission is still the same. We long to be just what our name says: a lifeline. But a lifeline of what?
First, we want to be a lifeline of hope. Everyone needs hope. All of us need to know what it means to have something greater than ourselves to live for. At Lifeline Community we aim to extend to you the reality that there is hope for whatever situation you find yourself in.
Second, we want to be a lifeline of passion. Life was meant to be lived with desire and fervor. At Lifeline Community we want to help you come alive to be all that God created you to be. We are passionate about our relationships with each other and our relationship with God. We hope this passion is contagious!
Third, we want to be a lifeline of love. The greatest love ever shown was the love Jesus showed by laying down his life for us. We believe it is our responsibility to love others and share the love of Christ with them in a meaningful and tangible way.
We hope you will let us be a lifeline of hope, passion and love to you and your family. Hey, in a world like ours every family needs a lifeline to hold on to! We hope you connect with us and give us the opportunity to pour our lives into yours.
In the love and grace of Jesus,
Bryan Hurlbutt
