Lyndon Center Baptist Church, a member of the Green Mountain Baptist Association (SBC), was founded in 1843. We are a small congregation which functions like an extended family, and is a warm and welcoming fellowship of believers. We are a Bible-believing, Christ-centered church, here to make disciples who make disciples. In addition to supporting the GMBA’s church planting work and other ministries, we serve at the local food shelf, send mission teams to work alongside an urban church and rescue mission in Niagra Falls, NY, and have sent short-term missionaries to China.
Worship is at 10:15, with children’s Sunday School following a brief children’s sermon, usually around 10:45.
Pastor Joel is a Vermont native and a 1989 graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. His wife, Aprile, has over 30 years’ experience in children’s ministry, is head of children’s ministries at LCBC and the leader of our community outreach, Lyndon Share and Learn. We are congregational in governance, & have two elders, who, with the pastor, provide day-to-day leadership for the congregation.
