River City is a non-denominational, Spirit-filled, Family-friendly, Word-church in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, located in Sussex County. We meet every Sunday evening at 6pm at the Hampton Inn on the highway next to McDonalds. Our worship style is contemporary and Spirit-filled, often with songs from Hillsong, Jesus Culture, Third Day, etc. (We also have a church in Georgetown, Delaware, which meets in the mornings). Our pastors are Dr. Joel and Heidi Hitchcock. They have four children – Anthony, Rebekah, Timothy and Trey. The Hitchcocks have also operated as international evangelists for over 25 years of full time ministry. Multitudes have responded to their invitation to receive Christ in their Gospel Campaigns. Joel operates in the gifts of the Spirit, such as healing and prophecy. He believes that a great revival and spiritual awakening is yet to come to the United States. Joel has written 5 books, including Christ in You. Joel loves the Word and his delivery style is exciting, energetic, challenging and engaging. Joel wants to bring out the Best in you.
