The Rev. Susan M.H. Brown is a graduate of Minot State University in North Dakota and Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington D.C. She is married to Terence Brown and is the mother of 4 grown children and 1 grandchild.

– Rev. Brown started out as a horse trainer and riding instructor. She received a call to ministry in her thirties, and has served large and small churches in: North Dakota, West Virginia, and Maryland.

– Rev. Brown is a Silver member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, has worked helping survivors of domestic violence, and has served as a church planter for The United Methodist Church.

– At Rockville UMC, we encourage leadership from the membership. We have church members involved in leading: administrative task groups, studies, missions, service projects, and outreach.
